Longquan Zhongtai Auto Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. Was Shortlisted for the On-site Competition of the High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industry in the 4th China Innovation Challenge (Zhejiang)
On November 8th, the On-site Competition of the High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industry for the 4th China Innovation Challenge (Zhejiang) and the 2019 Zhejiang Provincial Technology Demand "Project Bidding for Talents" Competition kicked off in Xinchang. Guided by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, the event was sponsored by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Department of Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province. Longquan Zhongtai Auto Air Conditioning Co., Ltd., an enterprise with technology demands in our city, was shortlisted for this on-site competition.
The on-site competition adopted the roadshow format, consisting of two sessions: solution competition and price competition. Based on the results of these sessions, the first, second and third prizes were selected, with rewards of 80,000 yuan, 50,000 yuan and 20,000 yuan respectively. For the technology demands officially released after expert screening, if the subsequent docking results in a successful signing, a subsidy accounting for 20% of the actual transaction volume will be granted, with the maximum amount reaching 2 million yuan. The technology demand project of Longquan Zhongtai Auto Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. — "Development of an Integrated On-line Testing Device for Electromagnetic Clutches" — was challenged by two teams: the team led by Ke Haisen from China Jiliang University and the team led by Zou Xiyong from Hangzhou Liangyi Technology Co., Ltd. After fierce competition, the two teams won the second and third prizes in the on-site competition with total scores of 91.20 and 87.20 respectively. The team led by Ke Haisen from China Jiliang University signed an intentional cooperation agreement with the enterprise.
It is reported that a total of 210 technical problems from enterprises were collected across the province in the early stage. After expert evaluation, 15 of these technology demand projects were shortlisted for the on-site competition. The on-site competition serves as a platform for exchanges and cooperation between enterprises with technology needs and R & D institutions. Through the "Project Bidding for Talents" mechanism, it not only stimulates the potential technology demands of enterprises but also enables them to enjoy corresponding fiscal subsidies and preferential tax policies. Meanwhile, the "bid - responding competition" helps cost-effective technical solutions stand out, effectively solving the practical problems encountered by enterprises and injecting strong impetus into enterprises' technological innovation and the transformation and upgrading of related industries.
